Who is responsible for your data

Squirrel & Sage Studio (United Kingdom) is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Contact: hello@squirrelandsage.com.

What we collect and why

Orders: when you buy, Payhip collects your name, email address and payment details so it can process your order and deliver your files. We receive your name, email and order details. Card details are handled by the payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) and we never see them. Lawful basis: contract.

Emails you send us: we use them to reply to you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

Marketing emails: only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time. Lawful basis: consent.

Cookies

Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they look at. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_…, which last up to two years, and Google processes this data on our behalf. Analytics only runs if you click Accept on our cookie banner. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Lawful basis: consent.

Your cookie choice: we remember whether you accepted or declined in your browser’s storage, so we don’t ask on every page.

Checkout and fonts: Payhip’s checkout may use cookies that are strictly necessary for payment to work. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them.

We don’t use advertising cookies.

Who we share data with

Payhip (checkout and delivery), Stripe and PayPal (payments), IONOS (website hosting and email) and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google (website statistics). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for 6 years to meet UK tax requirements, and emails for as long as we need them to help you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
